Psalm 19:12 King James Version (KJV)- 12Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
The late Bishop G.E. Patterson "Yes Lord/Invitation to Christ
Greeting to all of my wonderful subscribers, family and friend's of World In Focus International Ministries (WIFI)... Thank you so much for your continued love and support, I can't say thank you enough... Today I want to touch on grace and forgiveness which is a big issue in our world today and tends to be a very touchy subject when it comes to us truly and really forgiving each other like Christ has forgiven us and showed us time and time again his precious love, grace, compassion, forgiveness and mercy... Often times we become angry at the thought of forgiveness because it just seems so hard to let go of the things that hurt us so bad... It's not that we don't want to let it go, it's just the thought of never wanting it to ever happen again in our lives... I had to come to grips on yesterday and realize that battle really is not mines but it's the Lord... So after a long day of thinking, I had to come to terms that Grace and Forgiveness or not options that are vital to Christian growth if we desire to move forward and go higher in him... The scripture says in Luke 18:13 (KJV) 13And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I asked God to please ease my pain and take all these bad memories away from me and be merciful and replace them with things of Love, Peace, Joy and Happiness.. When we develop a positive attitude, God takes care of us - forgives us, cleanses us through the blood of Christ, covers our transgressions and keep us under the shadow of His wings . 1 John 1:7 (NIV) 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. Romans 4:7 - "Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Psalms 17:8-9 (ESV) 8 Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings, 9 from the wicked who do me violence, my deadly enemies who surround me. I seek for those things which are good and pleasing to God... I never want to find myself bitter, because I feel no better than the person that has trespassed against me... We as Christians have to learn how to be the bigger person... In the word of God he teaches us all how to be good disciples and gives us instructions on how to come to him and draw others to him by taking them down the Romans road which is full of Grace and Forgiveness... It really simple too.... He said all we need to do is confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and though shall be saved... So you have to stop and ask the question do you believe that Jesus Christ Died for your sins? If the answer is yes, you are headed on the right road... Then the next step is letting you know that God is faithful and just to forgive us from ALL unrighteousness... He gave his only begotten son who was wounded for our transgressions, beat and bruised for our iniquities... He then lock his head in the arms of his shoulders and died, BUT he did not stay there very long.... He stayed there all day Friday, and Saturday, but early Sunday Morning our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ got up with all power in hands to show the world the kind of love he has for you and I. That's what I call real love that a man would lay his life down for friend... It's not happening much these days, but we do have some people that love each other so hard that they would give their all for them... I say just love unconditional like Christ loved us...The Cost of Being a Disciple Luke 14:25-34 New Living Translation (NLT) 25 A large crowd was following Jesus. He turned around and said to them, 26 “If you want to be my disciple, you must hate everyone else by comparison—your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple. 27 And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple.
28 “But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it? 29 Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you. 30 They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’ 31 “Or what king would go to war against another king without first sitting down with his counselors to discuss whether his army of 10,000 could defeat the 20,000 soldiers marching against him? 32 And if he can’t, he will send a delegation to discuss terms of peace while the enemy is still far away. 33 So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own.34 “Salt is good for seasoning. But if it loses its flavor, how do you make it salty again? 35 Flavorless salt is good neither for the soil nor for the manure pile. It is thrown away. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!”
